Austin UXPA Meetup: Case Study on Occupational Risks for Hair Braiders
February 4, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
UX professionals are, by design, compassionate about supporting their user base. A common topic amongst young UX professionals is “How can we use our skills to help make the world a better place?”
In this interactive presentation, you’ll hear how one UX Researcher utilized her academic training in research to impact an at-risk and overlooked population. Additionally, she will explain the importance of understanding the culture of users before selecting research methods and designing user-specific content.
The novice and experienced UX-er will find this hands-on presentation thought-provoking.
The best part? You do not need to bring anything with you. Just an open mind and your inquisitive spirit! This will be an interactive presentation.
